Let's help change Ghana’s destiny – Rev Kotei

The Right Reverend Solomon Kotei, General Overseer of the Radiant Light Gospel Mission, on Easter Sunday urged Ghanaians, irrespective of their social, political standing, or religious beliefs, to pray passionately with a united voice to God, to change the destiny of the nation from crisis to prosperity.

He said prior to the Crucifixion, Jesus saw the horror to face on the Cross, and therefore sought the help of His disciples to pray so that God would avert it, but thrice He met them asleep.

Preaching at an Easter Sunday Service on the theme: “Horror of the Cross,” Rt Rev Kotei said comparing Christ's experience to the Ghanaian situation, it seems all and sundry, especially people in higher positions, are asleep leaving the burden of governance to the President alone.

Rt. Rev. Kotei said as the disciples failed to help Jesus, the angels came to strengthens Him, and so with ardent prayers, God would open our ears to hear and see beyond the problems ahead, and be able to muster the courage to overcome them.

“The church should make a difference, we need to see through it what God needs us to do, what will happen to us as individuals, family, and a nation to enable us marshal the capabilities to change by God's power, unsurmountable problems”, he added.
