Kumasi, May 27, GNA - The Kumasi Metropolitan Coordinator of the Ghana Association of Faith Healers and Traditional Birth Attendants, Prophet Francis Wake Yeboah, has urged his colleagues in the herbal medicine practice to research into herbs for diseases, which continue to defy treatment by orthodox drugs.
He said the potency of medicinal herbs could not be underestimated and that given proper attention and focus, it could bring immense improvement to country's health care delivery.
Prophet Yeboah, who was speaking to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in Kumasi, said herbal medicine could treat all maladies if well prepared. "It is 100 per cent effective than the orthodox medicine", he said. Prophet Yeboah, the owner of the 12 Apostles Herbal Centre at Adabraka in Kumasi noted, herbal medicine, has a bright future because of the availability of raw materials used for preparation. He called for firm measures to stop drug peddling in commercial buses to save innocent people from buying fake ones from people they would not be able to trace. 27 May 10
