I am deeply saddened by the news of the passing of NPP Chairman for the Nhyiaeso Constituency, Chairman George Kofi Adjei. Geokad, as he was affectionately known, was a dedicated stalwart who distinguished himself in long service to the NPP.

As a personal friend, this comes to me as a shock. Not only to me and the Ashanti NPP family, but to the rank and file of the party.

As we extend commiserations to ourselves and his immediate family, we have to honor Chairman’s memory by working hard to ensure that his wish for a resounding victory for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and the NPP becomes a reality in December.
