The Youth and Vocations Director for the Catholic Diocese of Koforidua, Reverend Father Gregory Peter Oduro Owusu, has charged members of the Catholic Youth Organization to let time consciousness be their hallmark in order to be successful in life.

He said that by being time-conscious, the youth can discover how to make use of their time.

Speaking at Kpong Catholic Church in the Agomanya Deanery during the climax of the Diocese of Koforidua C.Y.O. Jamboree, Reverend Father Gregory stressed the need for members of the C.Y.O. to be guided by wisdom in selecting friends and making choices in life.

The youth chaplain called on crusaders to trust in the Lord and not rely on their insight, adding, "In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths."

The founder of Matthew 25 House, an HIV and AIDS care facility in the Diocese, and also a senior priest who frequently preaches for the survival of the C.Y.O., Monsignor Alex Bobby-Benson, commended leaders and members who participated in the four-day jamboree and pledged to support the organization always.

The mass brought seven priests from the diocese and about 1,000 crusaders from Asamankese, Adoagyiri, Agomanya, Ntronang, Tafo, Koforidua, Korobo, and Oda Deanery, who joined the colourful ceremony to select the best candidates for the National Jamboree in Kumasi.

A total of 33 members were initiated into the Ghana Catholic Youth Organization during the ceremony.
