Let us enter the New Year with faith and respect for God

Tema, Jan. 01, GNA - Reverend David Nabegmado, Senior Pastor of Central Assemblies of God, Community Four Tema has called on Ghanaians to enter the 93Year of Jubilee' with humility, trusting and respecting God to ensure His abundance blessing on them.

"This country would be one of the best in Africa if we are honest and remain faithful and loyal to God and the nation," he added. Rev. Nabegmado who made the call in his New Year's message, stressed the need for Ghanaians and Christians to eschew jealousy and envy and live in unity to develop the nation.

He prayed for peace and unity among leaders in the country irrespective of their religious, ethnic and political background. Rev. Nabegmado noted that the youth could grow to be future leaders when they remained disciplined and not be in haste to acquire material wealth.

He advised them against engaging in drinking, drug abuse and immoral acts to contract HIV/AIDS.

Rev. Nabegmado advised parents to take advantage of Government's programmes in education to educate their children and other youths in their areas.
