A Level 300 Geography student from the University of Ghana has been reported missing.

According to reports, the student informed his roommates that he was going home due to illness, but has not been seen or heard from in 48 hours.

There has been a concerning increase in disappearances in Ghana, with Missing Ghana stating that 610 people went missing between 2021 and 2023, with the majority being children.

Recent cases include the disappearance of Paulina Lamisi, Women's Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Tema West constituency, who went missing on July 12.
