Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund have reportedly got eyes on Athletic Bilbao star Inaki Williams.
The Spain international, 23, has spent the past three years with his hometown team after returning from feeder club Bisconia.
And during that time he’s established himself as a firm favourite at the San Mames, racking up 48 appearances last season alone.
Williams scored five goals and assisted six more as Bilbao secured a seventh-place La Liga finish in May.
And it seems his form under Ernesto Valverde, who’s since joined domestic rivals Barcelona, turned Jurgen Klopp and Peter Bosz’s heads.
Liverpool are facing the prospect of potentially losing Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona following Neymar’s departure.
While Dortmund ace Ousmane Dembele is thought to be on the Spanish giants’ radar too.
Tutto Mercato Web indicate the interest in those two attacking talents has got Klopp and Bosz thinking about Williams.
The Italian transfer rumour specialists indicate Inter Milan were priced out of a move for the forward.
And therefore he’s most likely to head for England or Germany if he leaves his homeland this summer.
Williams is under contract until 2021 though, so it could take a hefty fee to convince Bilbao to sell.
