Locate Freddie Blay’s home and serve him – High Court directs CHRAJ

Freddie Blay, NPP National Chairman Freddie Blay, NPP National Chairman

CHRAJ lawyers have been advised by the High Court to locate the residence of the National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Freddie Blay, and serve him with the complaint filed against him by the Coalition for Social Justice over his purchase of some 275 buses for all Constituencies of the NPP across the country.

Lawyer for CHRAJ, Bete Doku, today told Justice George Koomson’s Court that all efforts to find Chairman Freddie Blay, to serve him has proved futile. It was the prayer of the lawyers for the Court to grant them an opportunity to use other means of service to bring the complaint to the attention of the NPP National Chairman.

The Court however directed that CHRAJ should exercise the option of serving him at his home.

The Case was thus adjourned to the 25th of June 2019, with the hope that by the said date, officials of CHRAJ would have been able to serve him.
