A Deputy Chief of Staff who is also the NPP parliamentary candidate for the Damongo Constituency, Mr Samuel Abu Jinapor, has presented food items including an undisclosed amount of money to residents of the Damongo Constituency based in Accra and Kumasi.

The items included 100 Bags of Rice, 25 Gallons of Cooking Oil and an undisclosed amount of cash to the Damongo Constituency residents in Ashaiman, Tesano, Tema, Agbogbloshie and Kumasi.

This gesture from the NPP Parliamentary Candidate came as a result of the outbreak of the world’s pandemic COVID-19 that has sent some parts of Ghana into a 2-week lockdown.

The items were presented to the leadership of the named areas to share with residents in the community who are from the Damongo Constituency to be able to have adequate food stock throughout these challenging moments of lockdown in those areas.

The leadership of the residents of the constituency in the affected areas praised Mr Samuel Jinapor for remembering and having them in mind at this critical moment.

They said it is only the almighty who will pay him back for his efforts and urged him to do more to help make sure the development is brought to the doorsteps of the people in the constituency.

Earlier last month, the NPP Parliamentary candidate Lawyer Abu Jinapor made donations to all Health facilities across the Damongo Constituency as immediate measures to prevent the spread of the virus COVID 19.

He used the opportunity to advise the people of Ghana especially his constituents to continue to practice the precautionary measures outlined by the World Health Organization (WHO) to be COVID 19 free.
