A delighted Alhassan Wakaso who saw his side win for the first time in five league games says the feeling among the group is that they will do everything to survive going down this season.
The Ghanaian international lasted 46 minutes in a game that Lorient had to dig deep for all three points after going down 2-0 in the first half.
Wakaso’s international team mate Abdul Majeed Waris was at his sparkling best with two assists to enable the win.
“We are looking very well at this stage and all we needed was a win like this one,” Wakaso said
“Sometimes all you need is just a very good win to get you going and we should continue this way.”
“We have had some really difficult games but when you look though the dressing room it’s the feeling of confidence that we will survive.”
Lorient have picked up 25 points from same as Bastia and three points behind AS Nancy.
