MASLOC Boss exposed on live TV over Kofi Adda’s military helicopter brouhaha

CEO of MASLOC, Stephen Amoah CEO of MASLOC, Stephen Amoah

Mr Stephen Amoah the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC) who was a panelist on TV3’s New Day Programme on Wednesday February 19, 2020 was forced to beat a retreat after categorically stating that no aspirant had used a helicopter as a means of transport to file their nomination.

His categorical statement was in rebuttal to a claim by Member of Parliament(MP) for Tamale North, Alhassan Suhuyini, that Joseph Kofi Adda(MP for Navrongo Central) had gone to Navrongo with a military helicopter to file his nomination ahead of the parliamentary primaries of the party in April.

Mr Amoah had declared: “None of the aspirants in NPP has submitted his or her form with helicopter or by helicopter. That is palpable false. It’s never true. It’s a big lie.”

He then wondered why Alhassan Suhuyini, if he is a true a Muslim, will create such a lie about an aspirant in the NPP parliamentary race.

But after a video of Kofi Adda arriving in Navrongo with a military helicopter to file his nomination was shown to him, the ardent defender was forced to recant his defence albeit with a caveat that the helicopter may have been headed for Navrongo already and Mr Adda may have been given a lift.

A vindicated Alhassan Suhuyini then condemned the fanaticism of Mr Amoah, advising him to desist from comments on people’s faith and politics.
