Executive Director for the Media Foundation of West Africa (MFWA), Sulemana Braimah, has blamed the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government for the re-eruption of the Bawku conflict.

In a post shared via social media, he indicated that the actions and inactions of the current of government have played a contributory role in ensuring the conflict erupts.

The Bawku conflict in Ghana is a protracted strife related to land ownership rights and chieftaincy between the Kusasis and Mamprusis, two major ethnic groups in the northeast of the country.

Regardless of efforts to ensure that the feuding parties end the protracted conflict, there is no end in sight as attacks keep happening.

But in a post shared via social media, Suleman Braimah blamed the current government for the re-eruption saying,”The actions and inactions of the NPP government have finally led to the re-eruption of the Bawku Conflict”.
