MP advises youth on cocaine and wee smoking

Tepa (Ash), Nov 12, GNA - Mr Kwame Owusu Frimpong, Member of Parliament (MP) for Ahafo-Ano North, has advised the youth not to engage themselves in crimes like cocaine use, wee smoking, rape and robbery adding that they should focus on their education or learn a vocation in order to face the future with courage.

He gave the advice at the 12th anniversary celebration of the 'Christ Redeemer Church' at Tepa in the Ahafo-Ano North. The celebration was under the theme: "The Youth - Facing the future with Courage".

The MP expressed concern about increasing reports of cocaine trafficking, wee smoking, robbery, rape and drug abuse and advised the youth not to involve themselves in a "get-rich-quick mentality".

Nana Adusei Atwenewah Ampem I, Omanhene of Tepa, appealed to the youth in the Church to lead decent life as true followers of Christ. The Reverend Kofi Sarpong, Minister in-charge of the Church, urged Christians to be strong and resist all temptations in difficult times in order to face the future with courage.
