Dr. Gifty Twum-Ampofo, known as Hajia Kande, the MP for Abuakwa North and former Deputy Minister of Education (TVET), made a notable donation, to the Abuakwa North New Patriotic Party (NPP).

She presented six new Royal motorcycles and committed to providing a branded bullion van for the party's use when necessary.

The donation was made at the NPP office in Kukurantumi, Eastern Region.

NPP Eastern Regional Secretary, Anthony Osei-Agyei, received the donation and handed it to Constituency Chairman Alhaji Seidu Ibrahim, expressing gratitude for Dr. Twum-Ampofo’s loyalty and support, especially after losing her parliamentary bid.

He highlighted her dedication compared to other MPs who have chosen to run as independents in the upcoming general elections.

He also stressed the importance of party unity ahead of the 2024 elections, optimistic about securing victory under the leadership of Dr. Mahammud Bawumia and Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh and urged Ghanaians to continue supporting the NPP for sustained progress.

Dr. Twum-Ampofo, in her remarks, expressed appreciation for the NPP, which had entrusted her with roles as a Deputy Minister for 7 years and as an MP for 8 years.

She encouraged Ghanaians to embrace digital transformation and TVET opportunities, mentioning Ghana's ongoing discussions with countries like Germany and the U.S. for labor export.

She also called on NPP supporters to turn out in large numbers on December 7 to secure a mandate for Dr. Bawumia and Dr. Opoku Prempeh, ensuring continued national development.

After receiving the motorcycles, Alhaji Seidu Ibrahim distributed them to the Youth Wing and electoral area coordinators, advising them to use the motorcycles for campaign purposes, not commercial activities.

The event was well-attended by party executives, polling station representatives, and members of the media.
