A Security Expert, Mustapha Gbande has cautioned womanizing Members of Parliament to desist from having an amorous relationship with multiple women because women could be used as powerful tools for their destruction.
According to him, some women who go into romantic relationships with most of these MPs could be planted by enemies of the law-makers to follow them and ensure their destruction.
His statement comes after another attempted murder on the life of the MP for Nhyiaeso, Hon. Kennedy Kankam four years after the death of J.B. Danquah.
Terrified by the latest incident MPs have reiterated their call for police protection as is provided for Ministers and Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives.
But speaking to Nkawkaw based Agoo FM’s Obaahemaa Yaa Mirekua, Mr. Gbande urged Members of Parliament to be conscious of their own security because most of the time they are attacked or murdered in their own homes.
He believes that the government can only provide security but cannot prevent attacks on their lives, therefore they must provide security for their own life.
“Apart from the fact that they seeking for security measures they themselves must take their personal security very seriously. Most of the MPs are womanizers and that is not correct though it’s their personal life. This sort of life attract attention to yourself, woman are very powerful a network so if you don’t know the person and you fall into her hands they will use the person against you. As an MP you need to be careful in the course of your work. An MP will go for a lunch with a lady she doesn’t know much about, as he interacts with the lady she may be doing her own assessment, even the bill the MP will pay after the lunch session can be used against him. The MPs themselves need to be conscious of their own security.”
