MTN launches twin city festival to celebrate customers

The MTN Ghana on Tuesday launched the fifth edition of the MTN Twin City Festival in Takoradi in the Western Region to bring out the rich cultural elements in the Ghanaian traditional set-up and help unite families and communities.

Some interesting activities had been lined up for the month-long festival including, Independence Show to remember and celebrate the fore fathers for their struggle to attain independence for Ghana, trade forum, medical screening and health walk and aerobics, as well as corporate games by 15 corporate entities in the Region.

The Mayor of Sekondi-Takoradi, Capt Anthony Robert Cudjoe (rtd), officially launched the festival at a short ceremony in Takoradi and appealed to the organizers of the programme not to limit the activities to only affluent in society but also ordinary people.

The event, under the auspices of MTN Culture Fest, would provide a platform for the subscribers of MTN and other stakeholders to share their concerns with regards to services provided by the telecommunication company to improve their services.

Mr. David Gyimah Boadi, Regional Senior Manager, South West Business Division of MTN Ghana, said the company desired to bring people together, inform them about their operations, expose them to some products and services.
