Madina for Christ Crusade launched

Apostle Francis Oduro, President and Missionary of Apostle Francis Oduro World Outreach (AFOWO), has called on religious bodies to intensify the youth training programmes in their churches to minimize the spate of internet fraud that is on the ascendancy.

He said the canker could be minimized only if churches played their roles by educating the youth on the need to accept Christ as their personal saviour.

Apostle Oduro was speaking at the launch of the “Madina for Christ” Crusade at Madina in Accra.

The crusade under the theme: “Ghana and Africa Return to Jesus Christ,” will be held at Madina on Saturday, June 28.

It would equip the participants both spiritually and physically with the word of God, and also empower them to overcome challenges in the years ahead.

Apostle Oduro urged the youth to desist from all forms of negative tendencies that may ruin their lives, and take Christ as their personal saviour.

He tasked Ghanaians to work harder than before and contribute meaningfully to ensure the development of the nation.

Apostle Oduro urged religious leaders to lead exemplary lives for their members to emulate, and also seek the welfare of their members.

He said the church would continue to hold regular programmes for the benefit of the community and Ghana as a whole.
