Mahama is corrupt - Sir John

President Mahama President Mahama

The Former General Secretary of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) has accused President John Dramani Mahama of being ‘corrupt’.

He claimed the President is the most incompetent President to have governed the country, accusing him of receiving kickbacks from the Amajaro group before consenting to their stay in the country.

He alleged that the late President J.E.A Mills doubted the credibility of the current President and thus called for an investigation to be conducted on him before accepting him to be his Vice Presidential candidate.

‘I don’t know but he is the most incompetent and corrupt president that this country has ever had, and I regret to say that Ghanaians deserved better, this is not a president the Ghanaians had hoped for, and so everything that he has done, from the day that he was the Vice President of this country when he was dealing with the embrya issue and when it was not all very clear, former president Mills of late had to get people to investigate his conduct and then true to the STX Korea deal where he let our money to be stolen, without Ghana benefitting, no cement, house, brick nothing was gotten out of that, and yet Ghanaians parted with huge sums of money.

Only John Mahama can tell us what is it, when Amajaro was caught sending cocoa, you know smuggling cocoa to Ivory Coast to sell from Ghana, and was banned from doing business in this country, the English Minister who Amajaro contacted said they can speak to Mahama, the man who led the interaction got something out of it, only God knows what John Mahama got from the Amajaro deal, Amajaro’s license was restored when he came to Ghana, and now this,’ he alleged.

Speaking on Ultimate breakfast show hosted by Lantam Papanko, he expressed disappointment over the Mahama-led National Democratic Congress (NDC) government.

He believes Ghanaians deserve an Akufo-Addo government devoid of corruption and complacency.

‘It seems to be that you have a President who is so corrupt, wherever he goes, there is something fishy and funny, midnight about him, in terms of his dealings, am not happy to be governed by this President, and so for me, if you ask me, if this is what Ghanaians asked for and paid for, I am afraid to say no, Ghanaians deserve better, a better president,’ he claimed.
