James Kwabena Bomfeh Jnr., popularly known as "Kabila", has called on President John Mahama to 'wake up' and work hard to put Ghana’s economy on a sound footing.
The CPP former National Youth Organizer, responding to President Mahama's caution to his critics not to "vent their frustration" regarding his administration on radio, expressed disappointment in the president’s claim on an Accra based radio station, Oman FM.
According to him, President Mahama has turned his office into a Public Relations machine and only pays lip service to enhancing the economy.
It could be recalled that President John Mahama, addressing a gathering at the 120th celebration of the Catholic Archdiocese of Accra, admonished his critics to refrain hurling insults at hi on radio.
But the CPP guru believes President Mahama has failed the country stressing that “President Mahama’s performance is far below power”.
“Our president is turning the Presidency into a PR machine. It’s always talking…It exhibits a talking president.
“It appears the presidency is talking too much. And they should know talk is cheap!
“… I don’t wish you ill, Mr. President. I pray and wish that you would succeed. Unfortunately, Mr. President, what you’re doing doesn’t give any indication that you earnestly would want to succeed…Ghana deserves better. Mr President, wake up,” he stressed.
