Sammy Awuku, former deputy communications director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) says he sees the Mahama-led NDC government is leading the nation into an abyss.
According to Sammy Awuku, he envisaged the current National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration led by President John Dramani Mahama performing abysmally in government and thus, not surprised at the turn of events.
He, however, expressed shocked at the quantum of failure and the severe hardship Ghanaians are experiencing now.
To him, “There is too much heat in the system now. ‘Boys abr3…girls n’su abr3’ (Boys and girls are tired). The system is overheated”.
Speaking on Adom FM, Sammy Awuku, who is also aspiring for the position of NPP’s National Youth Organizer opined that in spite of the president’s assurance that the economic hardship bedeviling Ghanaians will soon be over, he has serious doubts about his capacity to succeed.
“I knew the Mahama-led administration will be a disaster but never thought it will be of such catastrophic proportions. It’s obvious they (NDC) did not strategize….and we (Ghanaians) are suffering. We need to pray because I see this government leading us into an abyss,” he said.
