Communications Consultant to the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA), Eric Ametor Quarmyne says none of Ghana’s presidents can be compared to the first president of Ghana, Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah except incumbent John Dramani Mahama.
He explained that, President Mahama is gradually equaling the achievements of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah despite the fact that he is grappling with an ailing economy. He was discussing President John Dramani Mahama’s two-years in office which was marked yesterday January 7, 2015.
Speaking on Asempa FM, Ametor Quarmyne held the view that President Mahama has really shown an extraordinary leadership in governance, which the NPP failed to do whiles in power.
“President Mahama is next to Dr. Kwame Nkrumah in terms of governance and development. He has really done well and must be commended," he said.
He described anyone who will deliberately fail to recognize President Mahama’s achievement as a “hypocrite”.
“Only hypocrites will say the president has done nothing for this country. Developments are going on everywhere in this country,” he noted.
“No government has been able to construct 200 Senior High School [SHS] in two years in Ghana other than the Mahama-led government,” he added.
