President John Mahama has no sense of urgency, as far as fixing Ghana’s problems is concerned. That is the assertion of pathologist Prof. Agyeman Badu Akosa.
Using the protracted power crisis that has plagued the country for the past three years to buttress his point, the former flagbearer-aspirant of the Convention People’s Party (CPP) said on Thursday that Mr Mahama has failed to show the needed sense of urgency toward solving the problem.
Rating the President’s performance four out of 10, with 10 being the highest score, Prof. Akosa said apart from lacking a sense of urgency, the President has also not been sincere with Ghanaians as far as the energy crisis is concerned.
“There must be a sense of urgency,” Akosa said.
“He has not shown that urgency and he should come and be sincere with the people, especially with the energy issue,” he told Kasapa FM’s morning show host Fiifi Banson.
