Greater Accra Regional Minister, Nii Laryea Afotey Agbo says the achievements of President John Dramani Mahama in the region is unmatched and remarkable.
He explains, the Accounting to the People Tour is to tell Ghanaians what the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government has done over the years after they were given the mandate to govern.
Speaking in an interview with Kwame Tutu on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM, the outspoken politician said the major challenges of water crisis especially in Madina and its environs; deplorable roads, are but only a few of the projects undertaken by President Mahama.
He scoffed at what he says is the opposition New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) penchant for discrediting the unprecedented achievement of the Mahama government.
According to him, it is not surprising of the opposition NPP, who he said are polluting the minds of Ghanaians that government has done nothing.
The NPP continue to lie to Ghanaians, "So we need to step out and account to the people. The opposition party wants the NDC government out of power and because of that, they are telling Ghanaians that the NDC has brought nothing but misery to them. But we have stepped out to tell Ghanaians what we have done. We will continue to tour every corner of the Greater Accra region to expose the lies of the NPP."
Nii Laryea Afotey Agbo stressed the NPP is intoxicated by the unprecedented achievements of President Mahama, thus fear to lose the elections, hence the reason why they have embarked on a plan to discredit President Mahama.
Citing the numerous infrastructural projects ongoing in the region to buttress his point, he stressed that President Mahama will be re-elected as President of the Republic of Ghana.
