Joyce Bawah Mogtari, Special Aide to President John Dramani Mahama, has expressed strong confidence in the capabilities of the newly appointed officials under the administration of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), a report by citinewsroom.com has indicated.
Bawah Mogtari said she is optimistic that the team is capable of meeting the high expectations of Ghanaians.
“I feel humbled and deeply grateful to God for this day. I believe this is the day the Lord has made. Expectations are very high, and I am confident that this team is capable of delivering on those expectations,” she said.
Joyce Bawah’s statement is a result of the announcement of some key appointments made to support governance under Mahama’s administration.
Describing the decision as “one of the greatest ever,” Bawah Mogtari reiterated her confidence in the capabilities of the team.
She highlighted the diverse expertise possessed by the appointees, expressing confidence that their contributions would help in the growth and development of the country.
“This is one of the greatest decisions ever. You can see Dr. Callistus Mahama, Prosper Bani, and the rest of the team. They are incredibly capable and will deliver on the people’s expectations,” she noted.
Below is the list of the appointees:
1. Felix Kwakye Ofosu- Acting Spokesperson to the President.
2. Dr. Callistus Mahama- Executive Secretary to the President.
3. Prosper Douglas Bani - Head of the Interim Security Taskforce.
4. Dr. Valerie Sawyerr - Senior Presidential Advisor on Governmental Affairs.
5. Augustus Goosie Tanoh- Presidential Advisor, tasked with advancing the 24-hour economy and export development agenda.
6. Marietta Agyeiwaa Brew Appiah-Opong – Legal Counsel to the President.
