A senior political science lecturer at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Dr. Amoako Baah, has described President Mahama’s recent “politics of insults” as a reflection of the Montie trio’s behavior.
He lamented how the president practically is on a tangent of ridiculing the main opposition party leader Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo anytime he gets the opportunity to talk to Ghanaians.
And that such an attitude does not help in nation building particularly around this time that he (President) must be telling the electorates about his achievements and campaign promises.
He made the comments on Atinka FM’s political program “Simpieso” in an interview with Ofori Ayim Thursday 26.
According to Dr. Amoako Baah an incumbent president who is seeking for another term of office should campaign on issues that affect the masses to win floating votes.
Rather if he walks the path of “politics of insults”, then clearly it is a sign that he has not delivered on their promises and would use some sort of tactics which would not help.
He therefore cautioned the President to desist from showing his desperation and observe some level of decorum.
