Former President John Dramani Mahama is urging all Africans to tear down the relics of Neocolonialism and work hard to shape the common future as the forebears envisaged.
In a message to mark AU day, Mr. Mahama said, the journey towards true freedom has been long and a daunting task at some points, but the true spirit of Pan-Africanism has remained unquenchable.
On 25 May 1963, Africa made history with the foundation of the Organisation of African Unity (OAU) which brought the Continent together.
Since then, the 25th day of May has been celebrated widely across the world particularly in Africa to signify Africa’s identity and unity.
Former President Mahama, therefore, urged all to keep working towards the removal of all barriers of stereotyping and the relics of Neocolonialism
