Mahama will contest 2020 elections and win big - Yammin

Joseph Yammin Joseph Yammin

Former Deputy Ashanti Regional Minister, Joseph Yammin has reaffirmed speculations that former president John Dramani Mahama could stage a come back for the presidency in the 2020 general elections.

According to Yammin, the party’s delegates are itching to give John Mahama a resounding endorsement to lead the party again in the next elections.

He was speaking to Kwame Adinkrah, host of Abusua Nkommo in reaction to an assertion by Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah that Mahama will never be president again.

According to the controversial man of God, Isaac Owusu Bempah, John Dramani Mahama can never be president again “because he has been rejected by the Almighty God.”

According to Owusu-Bempah, Mahama has no blessing from to lead Ghana and must resist calls from supporters of the National Democratic Congress [NDC] to lead the party in the 2020 general elections.

But Joseph Yammin says Mahama will lead the NDC in 2020.

“It doesn’t rest with fake pastors like Isaac Owusu Bempah to determine who becomes a president in Ghana or not,” he charged.

“Isaac Owusu Bempah and other NPP pastors are the reason why there is blood everywhere and people are committing suicide…they should tell us the secret things they did than telling who will be president and who will not be,” he added.

He reiterated, “Kwame, take it from me…John Mahama will contest the next elections on the ticket of the NDC and no one can change that, even the delegates want Mahama to contest and that will happen.”
