Accra, June 1, GNA - The Ghana Cocoa Board (COCOBOD) on Tuesday announced that the main crop-purchasing season for the year 2003/04 would end by the close of work on Thursday June 3.
A statement issued in Accra and signed by Mr Kwame Sarpong, Chief Executive of COCOBOD said declared purchases by Licensed Buying Companies (LBC) would be accepted up to 1600 hours on Thursday June 10. The statement explained that this would enable the LBCs to obtain final returns from their up-country stations.
