Dr Lawrence Edusei, a specialist pathologist who performed the post-mortem on the late Major Maxwell Adams Mahama has been discharged.

Dr Edusei, a 13th Prosecution Witness in the case in which some 14 persons are standing trial form the murder of the late military officer was grilled thoroughly on his report which indicated that the late military man died of multiple injuries.

In his 3rd appearance in court, lawyer Anim Addo, for some of the accused persons scrutinized the report of the pathologist suggesting among other things that he didn’t do diligent work.

Dr Edusei in all his responses maintained that the late military officer died from gunshots and blunt objects.

The investigator is the case is the next and final prosecution’s witness.

The court presided over by Justice Mariana Owusu, one of three Judges heading to the Supreme Court subsequently discharged the witness.

Starr News’ Court Correspondent Muntalla Inusah who was in court reported that Lawyers for the defence led by George Bernard Shaw are currently moving a bail application before the court.
