A 34-year-old man, Kwame Appiah, has made a confession during a live broadcast on Sompa TV's "Sompa Nkomo" programme, revealing how his life took a turn after an unusual incident left him with eye problems and deep regret.

Kwame, who previously lived in Asuofia Asaman, admitted to frequently spying on women bathing in uncovered bathrooms in his community.

In his account, Kwame explained that the temptation arose from living in a multi-story building, which gave him and two other boys easy access to view the women’s bathhouses.

According to him these structures are common in rural areas, and lack proper coverage, making it possible for him to secretly watch the women without their knowledge.

Kwame explained that one afternoon while spying on a particular woman as she bathed, he noticed something unusual happen.

Since that moment, Kwame says his life has been in ruins. He lost his job, his vision has worsened, and he believes the incident has cursed him. He shared that he has been unable to function normally and feels as though everything in his life has come to a standstill.

“Some time ago, we used to stay at Asuofia Asaman in a storey building, and the ladies who had rented houses in the vicinity would bathe in uncovered bathrooms. Whenever they were bathing, I would go and hide to see their nakedness.

“One afternoon, a certain lady was bathing, and I decided to go and watch her. While I was watching, I realized something came from her private part, like a butterfly, and struck my eye. Immediately, I felt pain in my eyes.

“I couldn’t approach the person to apologize, and since then, my life has come to a standstill. I’ve lost my job and now have an eye problem, which is why I came here to confess and seek help,” he narrated.
