Embattled coach of Great Olympics Godwin Attram has revealed that some board members of the club stood against Didi Dramani’s decision to assist him.

Confusion rocked the Accra based side last Wednesday following the appointment of Tom Strand as the club’s new head coach, a coach Attram said he will not work with.

Prior to Strand’s appointment, Attram had proposed three coaches (Ibrahim Tanko, Maxwell Konadu and Didi Dramani) he want the club to bring on board to help him.

According to Attram, Dramani stood up for the job with the condition that he will train with the team but he will not be on the bench, a condition Olympics board kicked against.

“I gave them three names, Maxwell Konadu, Ibrahim Tanko and Didi Dramani, because these are coaches who want my success and if i get one of them to help me i will be grateful,” Attram told Sportscrusader.com.

“They couldn’t get Maxwell Konadu and Ibrahim Tanko but Didi Dramani stood up for it, and he said he will train with the team and on match day he will be in the stands and he will communicate with me, some board members of the club said no."

“They have brought Tom Strand and i don’t think i can work with him, never.”
