Renowned journalist, Manasseh Awuni Azure has bemoaned the deceit of politicians, and how much reflective it is in their policies and pledges.
Acting like wolves in sheep’s clothing, he said, they build and introduce policies which they don’t subscribe to in any way.
“I'm governed by people who don't attend the hospitals they build and boast about, who don't use the health insurance they made for us, and whose children are too superior to patronise the public education they pride themselves in”, he wrote in a post of Facebook.
Mr. Awuni sees no point in regarding persons who pose as leaders but in fact have the least respect for their country and its people. They, in reality, are ‘muddying the waters’ for generations yet to come through their insensitive actions and or rather inactions.
“A set of people whose truest sense and act patriotism is the fact that they are buried here when they die, thanks to the incentive of state burial. And I'm supposed to see them as great leaders, when I know that given this retrogressive pace, my great grand children may not escape the indignity of dying in the Mediterranean sea in their desperation to escape from the land of their birth,” he added.
