A man of God who successfully predicted the outcome of Ghana's 2016 elections is prophesying that several people will be jailed during the presidency of Ghana's next president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

President and founder of the Omega Fire Ministries International , Apostle Prof. Johnson Suleman, in a video making rounds on social media stated that Ghana's sitting president, John Dramani Mahama, was going to step aside for "an elderly man" to take over. He added that many sitting Members of Parliament were also going to lose their seats - two predictions that have come to pass following the outcome of the 2016 polls.

But that's not all. According to this man of God, an Akufo-Addo presidency will see the jailing of several people, a situation he likens to what is happening in Nigeria calling it 'Nigeria part 2'.

"I saw that the president of Ghana was removed...another elderly man [had taken over]. If this man comes to power, many will go to jail. Nigeria part 2. "

He added, "...even if we pray, many people in that party will lose their seats but let the will of God be done."

The National Democratic Congress, led by John Dramani Mahama, suffered the worst election defeat under the fourth republic during the December 7 elections. The party lost control of both the executive and legislature, losing more than 40 parliamentary seats in the process.

President-elect Nana Akufo-Addo who is to be sworn-in on January 7, 2017 has meanwhile rejected suggestions he will 'witch-hunt' his political opponents.

He however insists, he will ensure accountability by following due process while ensuring the 'rule of law' is maintained.
