Martin Amidu is now a noisy letter writer – NPP activist fires salvo

Activists within the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) are gradually getting disappointed in Ghana’s Special Prosecutor Martin Alamisi Burnes Kaiser Amidu with one describing him as a noisy letter writer.

John Kwadwo Stevens suspects the Former Attorney General has a clandestine agenda of sabotaging the Akufo-Addo led administration taking his recent pronouncements and how these are being done.

“Honestly I see him more as a “talkative” and a “letter writer” than a Special Prosecutor. I have the strongest believe that he want to sabotage this government. Since we put him there it has always been talking talking talking…writing without action. The thieves in the previous government are still hovering around boasting for not being prosecuted and even bold enough campaigning for another chance to be given to come and continue the stealing. Is he truly a citizen vigilante at all? President Akufo Addo erred by appointing an NDC man as special prosecutor”, he observed.

A member of the governing NPP’s communication bureau and an aspiring member of Parliament for Kpone Katamanso Constituency, Hopeson Yaovi Adorye days ago said, he is much disappointed in Mr. Martin Amidu, the holder of the office of the Special Prosecutor.

Hopeson Adorye in his submissions on an Accra based United Television late news discussion on Tuesday, August 6 said he does not know and could not understand why Mr. Amidu is delaying prosecution of some members of the John Mahama government.

“This why I sometimes think Martin Amidu is only talking ooo, ‘Martin Amidu should stop talking and work” Mr. Adorye asserted.
