Actor Kwaku Manu has recounted the harrowing details of his colleague Nana Ama McBrown’s accident, emphasising how dire the situation could have been without her financial resources for treatment.
During his YouTube show, Kwaku Manu described the accident as even more horrifying than McBrown has shared publicly.
He shared details of the events that unfolded on that fateful day, emphasising how her financial resources were instrumental in facilitating her recovery.
“If McBrown wasn't rich, she would’ve been armless by now. When she recounts the full details of the accident, you will marvel,” he stated.
He continued, “She told me she is the type of person that likes to keep her legs on the dashboard but on that fateful day, she didn't have the urge to do that. So, she leaned in as they waited for the traffic light to indicate that they could drive on.
“Then an incoming vehicle rammed into theirs. McBrown said she blacked out. Fortunately, she regained consciousness before the people who came to their rescue arrived.”
Kwaku Manu sharing more vivid details added, “She wasn't aware that her arm had even cut and was hanging. Part of her arm was cut and got stuck in the car door. She said all the bones were broken and she was only depending on just some veins.”
The actor further highlighted the indiscriminate nature of accidents, stating, “Accident does not care whether you’re a star or not.”
It will be recalled that in a recent interview on Starr Chat, McBrown disclosed that she has undergone four surgeries abroad since the incident, resulting in metal and screws being placed in her arm.
Despite these procedures, she admitted to enduring persistent pain that significantly affects her daily life and work activities.
