Meet all the valedictorians at 2019 University of Ghana November congregation

The University of Ghana, from Thursday, November 14 to Saturday, November 16, held its 2019 November Congregation ceremonies.

The ceremonies were for students who had completed their programmes of study during the 2018/2019 academic year.

As usual, at every congregation ceremony at the University of Ghana, one outstanding student is selected to give the valedictory speech.

The student selected to give the speech is the one with the highest Final Grade Point Average (FGPA) by graduation.

Notable among the list of valedictorians at this year’s November congregation are Jacob Semekor Mordzifa, a former commercial bus driver and Michael Goka, a former teacher who is currently serving in the Ghana Armed Forces.

Jacob Mordzifa, having read a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Geography and Resource Development, obtained a Final Grade Point Average (FGPA) of 3.91.

Michael Goka, who joined the Ghana Armed Forces in 2010 graduated with an FGPA of 3.80.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Administration degree (Banking and Finance option)

Others include Keith Oko Cleland, Millicent Otopabea Awuku, Dr. Ama Akoma Essuman, Emmanuel Gyasi, and Meek Esinam Djokoto.
