Ghanaians on Wednesday June 12, 2019 were left in shock when among the eight suspected kidnappers included a physically challenged person.

MyNewsGh.com has been digging deep to unravel the true identity of the man many would have thought cannot be associated with a crime of such magnitude that left entire country in complete shock.

According to police sources, he played an auxiliary role in the kidnap for which reason he was arrested and could be charged alongside four other suspects including three Nigerians and four Ghanaians.

It is gathered that he is currently being interrogated at the Headquarters of the Bureau of National Investigation (BNI) where his accomplices have been detained.

The two Canadians Lauren Tilley and Bailey Chitty, 19 and 20 years respectively who were kidnapped last week were rescued on Wednesday dawn June 12, 2019 at Sawaba a suburb of Kumasi by a combined team of personnel from the police SWAT unit and National Security Operatives.

The driver of the vehicle used for the kidnapping who is a mechanic and one other person were first to have been arrested and led the security personnel to arrest the others.



Officials of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) have hinted that the suspects after hours of interrogation, could be arraigned before court on Friday June 14, 2019.
