Middlesex University (MU) of London and Meridian Pre-University (MPU) of Ghana have set out modalities for students to undertake a three-year honours degree programme in any of the three MU campuses.
Professor Raj Gill, MU Pro Vice Chancellor stated in Accra after meeting with authorities of MPU that MU had a reputation for the highest quality teaching, research that made a real difference to people’s lives through practical, innovative approach to working with businesses to develop staff potential and provide solutions to business issues.
He said MU would offer MPU students the option of transferring between the three campuses located in London, Dubai and Mauritius during their studies.
The agreement mandates MPU to annually provide students with the qualified educational background to study in MU in all academic fields except the sciences.
Prof. Gill said the collaboration was in line with the institution's goal to grow worldwide community of successful Middlesex graduates to make vital contributions to the societies in which they live and work, and to be the preferred university partner for business.

He said in the recent past MPU had been sending students to Middlesex; “The current follow-up visit and affiliation is as a result of the extra-ordinary performance of our students”.
Mr Nettey said MPU would continue to maintain international academic standards, serve as a vital link between secondary education and tertiary levels.
