The Ghana Meteorological Agency has warned of an 80 per cent likelihood of a rainstorm in the southern and eastern parts of the country on Saturday, 2 November 2019.
The storm is then “expected to move westward to produce thunderstorms and rains” over some areas between 1230 and 1830 UTC.
The places include Aburi, Madina, Adenta, Dodowa, Aflao, Ada, Akatsi, Tema, Accra.
The others are Koforidua, Nkawkaw, Mampong, Ho, Kumasi, Konongo, Ejura, Sefwi Wiawso.
The Ghana Meteorological Agency earlier in the week urged Ghanaians to take the necessary precaution as the rains will continue in November.
Speaking to Francis Abban on the Morning Starr Tuesday, Director at the GMA Joseph Ayisi amongst other things that, “people should pay attention to the weather forecast and avoid flood-prone areas. The rains we are to expect going forward shouldn’t get heavier than what we saw yesterday,”
