The CEO of kwamss Petroleum, a supply chain specialist, a dealer and operator of all kinds of earth moving equipment and a hardware merchant and a public servant has been enstooled as the development Chief of Gomoa Esaabakrom at Kasoa CP under the title Sompahene Nana Nanka Bruce I.

Sompahene which literally means a “Good Servant ” is a Stool which is an honour to a person who has contributed and promoted the development and well being of the people in the town.

The enstoolment was performed on Thursday, 26 December, 2024 at Nana Bentum Okyerefo palace at Kasoa CP.

This means Millicent Bruce will now bear the chieftaincy title Sompahene Nana Nanka Bruce I, swearing allegiance to Nana Bentum Okyerefo Osegubroni I of Gomoa Essabakrom.

Nana Bentum Okyerefo Osegubroni I said the Sompahene Stool was occupied by someone who was concerned about the development of the area.

She further expressed gratitude to the traditional leaders for the confidence reposed in her by the chief and the entire community.

Prayers were offered for the newly enstooled Sompahene by the religious and the Moslem community for God’s blessing and guidance as she serve ion her new role.

He noted that the contributions of Millicent Bruce in the traditional area were enough to hand her the position to enable her contribute to development in the area.

Sompahene Nana Nanka Bruce I expressed appreciation for the responsibility bestowed on her and pledged to contribute to bring development to Gomoa Esaabakrom.

The enstoolment was well attended by MPs, Businessmen, Chiefs, Head Pastors of Assemblies of God, music stars, Military Generals, Colonels, Captains, some Police officers, Traditional Leaders as well as close family members.

The ceremony was also graced by a host of dignitaries including Madam Lesley A.
