Mills gov't will fairly distribute national cake- Hammah

Effutu Gyahadze (C/R), Jan 3 GNA- Mr. Mike Allan Hammah, Minister of Transport, on Saturday said the Atta Mills government would distribute "the national cake" fairly to every corner of the country irrespectively of the political party the area was clung to.

He appealed to Ghanaians especially, Effutu citizens to unite and support the government to achieve its agenda for a better Ghana Mr. Hammah, who is also the Member of Parliament for Effutu, said this at a Christmas party organized by him for the children at the Ebenezer Methodist Rafiki Orphanage at Effutu Gyahadze. The children were served with cooked rice, biscuits and soft drinks. He promised to rehabilitate the road to the Village before the end of the year,

Very Rev. Ekow Say, Director of the Village, said the center which was established in 2007 with 6 children now has a total of 18 children , made up of 8 males and 10 females, aged between 2 and 7. He said the Minister had earlier in the week provided the inmates with dresses and shoes as their Christmas gifts.

The MP, accompanied by some NDC party members in the town, interacted with Management and children of the Village. Rev. Say on behalf of management of the Village thanked the MP for organizing the party for the children and other assistance to Home. 3 Jan. 10
