Former President Professor John Evans Atta Mills loved Koku Anyidoho to the extent that the Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) “could get away with murder”, Dr Cadman Mills, brother of the late President has disclosed.

“I heard Koku Anyidoho say in an interview that he loved President Mills and it was returned. President Mills, I don’t know why, but he had such a weakness for this troublesome boy and President Mills absolutely loved him and Koku could get away with murder,” he said on Starr FM.

“When Koku did something and you went to President Mills to complain to him, he would say, ‘Don’t mind Koku’ and that meant he didn’t want to hear anymore.”

Dr Mills’ revelation comes after Mr Anyidoho, in an interview on GHONE Television’s State of Affairs Programme, had declared his love and dedication to the late president.

Mr Anyidoho, who was once the spokesperson for Professor Mills, said: “I will never regret working for him… President Mills, I salute you in your grave. Nobody will take that away from me.”

Professor Mills became the first President to die in office on July 24, 2012.
