Minister says social vices can drive away investors

Navrongo (U/E), Sept. 12, GNA - Mr Mark Woyongo, the Upper East Regional Minister, has said social vices like bribery, armed robbery and corruption could drive away investors.

He said this at the 16th Annual National Delegates' Congress of Teacher Trainees Associations of Ghana (TTAG) at the St John Bosco Training College in Navrongo.

Mr Woyongo said if Ghana would achieve its development goal, discipline should be taken seriously.

He called on religious organizations, teachers, chiefs and opinion leaders to spread the message of honesty, probity and accountability.

Mr Maxwell Adae, the National President of TTAG, appealed to government to fulfill its promises of ensuring that all colleges of education had accreditation and also ensure increment and timely delivery of funds to the colleges.
