Ministry of Education announces limited recruitment for Senior High School teachers

Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, the Minister of Education, has disclosed that the ministry will embark on a limited recruitment for Senior High Schools

In a Facebook post dated July 30, the minister explained that the recruitment process will begin next week, even as he encouraged prospective teachers to stay alert for further information about application procedures and the specific areas of focus for this recruitment drive, as reported by citinewsroom.com.

“I’m pleased to announce that a limited recruitment drive for high school teachers will commence next week. Stay tuned for more details on how to apply and the specific areas of focus for this recruitment,” he stated.

This follows the Ministry of Health's (MoH) recent announcement about the recruitment of 15,200 nurses and midwives, starting Monday, August 5, 2024.

According to a statement released on Friday, July 26, 2024, the Ministry of Finance (MoF) has approved the necessary financial clearance for this recruitment.

The upcoming recruitment drive by the Ministry of Education is expected to enhance the quality of education in Senior High Schools across the country.
