Mr Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, Minister of Local Government and Rural Development has given the assurance that government would continue to partner religious bodies to provide quality education to children.
He said government recognises the efforts of religious bodies to the development of the educational sector.
Mr Ofosu Ampofo was speaking when members of the African Faith Tabernacle Church paid a courtesy call on him in Accra on Tuesday.
The visit was to express gratitude to the Minister and government for assisting the church to establish a Senior High School worth GH? 550,000.
Prophet David Nkansah, Head of the Mission said the church was established by a Ghanaian in 1919 and based its doctrine on the African Culture by using African drumming and Ghanaian way of singing and dancing.
He said the church since its inception was able to build 155 basic schools and is appreciative of the assistance by government to complement its efforts in providing proper religious and circular education to children.**
