The body of the CPP Northern Regional Chairman Alhaji Mobilla would be buried on saturday.
An autopsy report released earlier this week confirmed earlier suspiscion that Alhaji Mobilla death was linked to acts of brutalities he suffered while in military custody.
Huge crowds are expected at the burial service.
The burial of Mobilla was coming off at a time when the family has expressed satisfaction with the autopsy report.
The family had earlier indicated that they would not bury the deceased if the autopsy report were questionable.
Alhaji Mobilla died last Thursday in Military custody could not be buried immediately in accordance with the Muslim Religion because the family and the Northern Regional Security Council (REGSEC) had asked that an autopsy be performed by an independent pathologist to determine the cause of death.
The need for the autopsy arose when the two parties disagreed on what caused the death of Mobilla.
While the family claimed that Alhaji Mobilla died of torture that emanated from military brutalities the REGSEC said he collapsed when he was being taken to the hospital and died on the way.
The pathologist Dr Kwaku Adomako Boateng from the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital who performed the autopsy said in a report said, Alhaji Mobilla died of fractured ribs, severe multiple abrasions and the collapse of the left lung haemorrhage,
A family source that took custody of the autopsy report said the family was yet to decide on the report but will go ahead and bury the deceased on Saturday.
