Ghanaian attacker Moritz-Broni Kwarteng is poised for a comeback as he joins VfL Bochum's pre-season training, marking a significant turning point in his career.

The 26-year-old, born in Germany, had a challenging season marred by a lengthy break due to a knee injury.

Kwarteng's return to the field signifies a fresh start, offering him an opportunity to improve upon his previous season's performance. He has successfully completed the mandatory performance diagnostics scheduled for Monday in Bochum, indicating his readiness to rejoin the team.

The physical condition of the Bochum players, including Kwarteng, will be further evaluated on Tuesday. This assessment will precede their first training session on the pitch, scheduled for Tuesday.

In the 2023/24 Bundesliga season, Kwarteng made eleven appearances and provided one assist.
