The mortal remains of Kwasi Opoku Agyemang, a Ghanaian Journalist, were laid to rest at the Beechwood Cemetery on Saturday, December 12, 2015.
Opoku Agyemang was first employed by the Graphic Corporation as a Reporter. By dint of hard work, he earned a scholarship to advance his knowledge in journalism in Bonn, Germany. He left Ghana to Liberia and continued his sojourn to Toronto.
In Toronto, Opoku Agyemang became a member of the Ghanaian Presbyterian Church for about one year before his death.
Rev. Raymond Baah Abekah, Resident Minister of the Ghanaian Presbyterian Church, officiated at the pre-burial Service at DeMarco Funeral Home, burial at Beechwood Cemetery, the final funeral rites at Manhyia Palace Convention Centre and thanksgiving service on Sunday, December 13, 2015, at the Ghanaian Presbyterian Church, all in Toronto, Canada.
At all the ceremonies were relatives in Toronto and from the United States of America, friends and sympathisers, who turned out in their numbers despite the cold weather. The family is grateful to the friends, sympathisers and the entire Ghanaian Presbyterian Church.
Opoku Agyemang, who died in his sleep on November 11, 2015, was 62 years and is survived by two daughters and a grandchild.
