Mpasatia Sec/Tech appeal for assistance

Mpasatia (Ash), June 14, GNA- School authorities of the Mpasatia Secondary/Technical in the Atwima District, are confronted with the problem of accommodating its female students.

This follows the ejection of the girls from a rented house, compelling the Headmaster, Mr Adu Gyamfi to offer them temporary accommodation in his official bungalow.

Mr Adu Gyamfi who made this known to the Ghana News Agency at Mpasatia at the weekend, said he now lives in Kumasi where he commute daily to Mpasatia, which is about 30 kilometres away.

He expressed displeasure that both male and female students share the same toilet facility due to lack of funds to complete one currently under construction.

Another issue of concern, was lack of transport and frequent power fluctuations that had damaged two of the school's computers and a stabilizer.

He appealed to the Ministry of Education, the District Assembly, Non-Governmental Organisations and philanthropists to come to the aid of the school. school
