Mpraeso-Kwahu citizens urged to unite for development

Mpraeso-Kwahu(E/R), Jan.23, GNA - Nana Owoahene Acheampong II, Head of Mpraeso-Kwahu Community in Accra and Tema has appealed to the citizens to unite and develop the town.

He asked them to channel their energy, strength, efforts and resources towards development but not on issues that would divide them and retard socio-economic development of the town ' the gateway to the Kwahu Ridge'.

Nana Acheampong made the appeal during a courtesy call on Nana Ampadu Daaduam II, Mpraesohene after his installation in Accra on January 7, this year.

Accompanied by Mr S.K.B. Omari, Chairman of Mpraesoman Kuo and the Executive Committee, Nana Acheampong said projects that needed priority attention in the town were rehabilitation of streets, provision of electricity to some parts of the town and construction of a Community Centre.

Nana Ampadu Daaduam gave the assurance that land would be made available for the Community Centre and appealed to the people not to allow the trust and confidence reposed in Nana Acheampong and Executives of Mpraesoman Kuo to wane but should be sustained towards the development of the town.
